The local school principal rang me just over a week ago to inquire about using our church for their carol service. After a few quick calls to make sure I wasn’t missing something cultural, I got the privilege of letting them know that we’d love for them to use it.
They’ll be having their service twice, once on this Thursday, and once on Friday. What this means is just over 100 children from age 5-12 singing on our little stage and many of their parents and the local community coming along to watch. I’ll have the opportunity to introduce myself. For many it will be the first time they meet Alisha and me, and also probably the first time many of them will step into our church building.
Please pray for the opportunities to build relationships and also for opportunities to invite others to our church carol service which will take place next week.
