New “Mission Opportunities” Section

We just launched a new section to our website, “Mission Opportunities”. Be sure to check out the link on the top menu bar to learn more about our “Vision Tour” planned for April 2007. We still have a few details to hammer out, but we are very excited about all of the interest we have already received for this trip.

Cocaine Use By Many Irish Teens Seen as “A Normal Activity”

The Irish Independent reported on September 8 that large amounts of cocaine were seized at several graduation balls in County Meath. Gardai (police) are concerned about the amount seized, and the fact that “taking cocaine is now perceived to be a normal activity.” Many are teens and young adults, and it is feared that they think cocaine is a recreational drug. “It is seen as acceptable and is widely available; there is nowhere for teenagers to go where they will not meet cocaine.”

In an attempt to better communicate our vision and progress, I’m in the process of launching a new category for our website for podcasting. Many of you have been praying for me as I have been working on a vision video and I’m excited that it is nearly complete. Our podcasting section is where you’ll be able to see that as soon as it’s finished, listen to audio podcasts we create, and listen to testimonies and interviews with Christians in Ireland.
